Missing data in PCL Reader
Posted on | February 22, 2010 | 1 Comment
When importing a PCL-file I’m missing approx. 16mm at the bottom compared to the “original”. The bottom border is actually 22mm and my printer only needs 6mm. How come?
If I want to use a “watermark/company paper” to “print on” what product is then needed beyond PCL Reader assuming a positive answer to my first qst.

It’s difficult to say without being able to analyze the PCL. Since you are describing the measurements in mm, you probably have a PCL file that is expecting the printer’s front panel defaults to be set to A4 paper size. We default to letter paper size. Change via Convert Prefs. -> Front Panel Settings ->
If you want to print on letter head, then that can be done a number of ways. You will need PCLWorks to create a letterhead overlay macro. Then, you will need to insert the execute the macro in your PCL data file.
