Creating Searchable PDF Files from PCL

Various PageTech products can create text-searchable, raster or vector PDF’s… depending on the nature (what driver/options) and composition (selections of fonts, symbol sets, etc.) of your PCL. 

However, extracting text from a PCL file is often much more difficult than rendering the PCL to another format.

We will need to analyze your PCL in order to determine the best method of achieving text searchablilty if you cannot achieve it yourself using our Demo or live products.
